Grand Ravois, which has consistently presented rich programs delving deeply into medieval folk music, presents its seventh release: the first volume of the “Villar de Honcourt Trilogy,” dedicated to the 13th-century church architect! ■Grand Lavois’s trilogy traces the journey of Villard d’Honnecourt, who is said to have traveled throughout Europe in search of drawings, paintings, sculptures, and decorations for church architecture. Volume 1 focuses on the journey from northern France to Hungary. Schmelzer & Grand Lavoa recreate the liturgical music composed in the 13th century by Pierre de Cambrai (Pierre of Cambrai) for Elizabeth, the Queen of Hungary at the time. Tokyo M Plus
