The Cologne WDR Symphony Orchestra (Cologne Radio Symphony Orchestra) led by maestro Marek Janowski finally releases "Destiny" and "The Countryside" recorded at the Cologne Philharmonic in September 2018. Janowski's Beethoven is fresh in the memory of his 9th concert with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in December 2018. He captivated the audience with a very clear-cut performance with a profound yet fast tempo setting throughout the entire piece. The "Fate" and "Rural" pieces recorded here are also impressive performances that fully demonstrate Janowski's strengths, highlighting the beautiful melodies that only he can bring out in his propulsive playing.
