DONNIE & JOE EMERSON, formed in Fruitland, Washington in the late 70's and dubbed "THE ROCK AND ROLL FARMERS" by a local TV station, are two teenage brothers, JOE on drums and DONNIE on guitar, vocals and more. Thirty years after the release of this album, a $5 copy was discovered by a collector named JACKFLEISCHER, which led to a cover by ARIEL PINK, and finally a reissue by LITA, and the album was re-released in the U.S. and Europe. The only album by this almost unknown brother duo, whose debut in 1979 was a wild dream come true, and has since been re-released by LITA, and has been highly acclaimed in various parts of the world. This is a masterpiece of pure bedroom pop funk, with fuzz and synth effects blending in with a rural dream.
