Blaze, one of the most successful duos in the US garage house—and by extension, the house music scene—has released a new single. This release is a compilation of tracks remixed by Ralph Lawson and Carl A. Finlow, founders of the renowned UK label 20:20 Vision, from the 1990s through the 2000s!! They’ve reinterpreted classic tracks like their signature song “Lovelee Dae” and “Wishing You Were Here”—the original of which was played by artists such as Theo Parrish—by incorporating elements of electro-funk and UK tech-house. The release includes the long-awaited A1 and A2 tracks, as well as B1, which was originally released on Frankfurt’s Playhouse. Featuring not only Ata and Heiko M/S/O—who founded Playhouse and the legendary Wild Pitch Club—but also UK masters who took up the torch after performing across Europe, this release evokes the underground connections that lie behind it.
