Long-awaited LP reissue of a gem of female SSW work independently produced in 1974! Finally, Shira Small, who was included in the compilation "WAYFARING STRANGERS : LADIES FROM THE CANYON" focusing on minor female SSW from the 70's, released from the same NUMERO label in 2006, has been independently reissued. Recorded in 1974 at a Quaker boarding school (a sect of the Protestant Church), the original was a simple, self-released disc with a simple design. The original was a simple self-released disc with a simple design, and of course, the number of copies in circulation was small. The album, which seems to have been produced mainly by Shira Small and her high school music teacher Lars Clatterham, contains many gems, not to mention the aforementioned "Eternal Life" from "Ladies from the Canyon"! The album also includes a funky tune "Gimme Magic" which changes the scenery from a gentle piano tune to a funky tune, and a cool jazzy funky tune "Fingerpainter" (great drum sound !!!!), which can be said to be the highlight of the album. The high quality of the performances and the primitive vocals, which maintain a constant tension throughout the album, give the album a unique aura. This is a miraculous album filled with tasteful musical elements such as soft psychedelic, jazz vocal, and soul! This is a level one album for the family!!!!
