LOUIS WAYNE MOODY HIGH" is a compilation of independent psychedelic singles released by NUMERO GROUP in 2020. The compilation included in this album caused a stir in the psychedelic world (?). The sound source of the female group is "Tale of My Lost Love". The story of two sisters who nurtured their dreams for half a century and never gave up on them. Vicki and Lonnie Gossett began their musical careers as teenagers in 1966 in Whittier, California. They called themselves THE FEMALE SPECIES. The band's lineup has evolved through a wide variety of changes, and their base of operations has moved to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and then Nashville. During this time, the band's musical style changed from garage rock to lounge to country pop.In the 1980s, they became staff songwriters for a music publishing company and developed a hit-making business. As a result of their relentless efforts, the girls were offered a once-in-a-lifetime audition in front of top executives at RCA. At that time, Vicki and Ronnie were already in their 40s. This disc is the story from beginning to end to the present day of two sisters who gave everything for their dream but never made a record.... As you can hear from the title track, the melancholic psychedelic mood that is contained only in US psychedelic girls of a certain period is in full bloom. This is a great number that could become a new classic standard!
