PINUPS / PINUPS", his 7th album of covers of 60s British Beat works, as if to break away from the bloated Ziggy image and unravel his own roots, is now available in a new remastered version in 2015! This is the only album of all David Bowie's covers in his career. Woody Woodmansey (ds) did not participate on this album, and Mick Ronson parted company with Bowie after this album. The songs covered on this album include Pretty Things "Rosaline" and "Don't Bring Me Down", Zem "Here Comes the Night", The Yardbirds "I Wish You Were Wood" and "Shapes of Things", Pink Floyd "See Emily Play", The Who " I Can't Explain," "Any Way, Anyhow, Anywhere," and the Kinks' "Here Have All the Good Times Gone," which were representative of the British 60s and were relaxing and meant a reset for Bowie.
