Jethro Tull's War Child was released in 1974. Originally, the film was supposed to be a multifaceted project consisting of a film about warfare, a soundtrack album, and a new studio album. However, only one new studio album, a concept album, was released in October of that year, and the film and its soundtrack were kept in storage. War Child," which reached No. 2 in the U.S. and No. 15 in the U.K., is said to be an easy listening album, free from the spell of big productions, with a pop side peeking out. In fact, the album spawned radio hits such as "Bungle In The Jungle. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of the album, an anniversary edition of the album is finally being released. This LP analog record is part of the 40th anniversary project. The 180-gram vinyl set will feature a new stereo mix by Steven Wilson, who has mixed previous Jethro Tull reissues.After 40 years, "War Child" is revived with a new sound image.
