Description:

Amory Vassili, a young nobleman of French music, sings a tribute album overflowing with love and respect for French pop music. 13 songs that colored the world of French pop music in the 70's are revived with a new life! At the age of 26 (as of 2015), the young French singer Amori Vassili is releasing her fifth album. She has performed at Live Image here in Japan for two consecutive years, attracting the hearts of many fans with her natural tenor voice and charming looks. After releasing several classic crossover albums, "VINCERO" (2009), "CANTERO" (2010), and "UNA PARTE DI ME" (2012), he is now releasing a pop album following his last album, "AMAURY Following "VASSILI CHANTE MIKE BRANT", he releases a pops album! The new album, entitled "CHANSONS POPULAIRES (POP SONGS)", is a collection of covers of French pop songs from the 1970s, which Amory himself has been familiar with and influenced by since he was a child. They may not be the world's biggest hits that everyone knows, but they are all gems of pop songs that are indispensable to the history of French pop music. Some of these hits were born in France and spread around the world! For example, "Une Historie d'amour," the theme song for the movie "A Song of Love" by Francis Ray, was used in an American movie and became a worldwide hit (recorded here is the French version by Mireille Mathieu). Nicoletta's 1967 hit "Il est mort le soleil (The Sun is Dead)" was later made into an English version "The Sun Died" by Ray Charles, which was covered by Tom Jones and others and became a hit. The album also includes an English version by Petula Clark ("If I Only Had Time") and "Je n'aurai pas le temps," a song that spawned versions in various languages, including German, Spanish, and Italian. On the other hand, the French version of "Solitaire", popularized by Neil Sedaka, Petula Clark, and the Carpenters and sung by Nana Mouskouri, "On l'appelait Solitaire", a French version of Janis Ian's "At Seventeen", a French hit by Claude Francois, and "On l'appelait Solitaire", a French hit by Nana Mouskouri. The album will also include the French version of "Solitaire" popularized by Neil Sedaka, Petula Clark, and the Carpenters, "On l'appelait Solitaire" sung by Nana Mouskouri, and the French version of Janis Ian's "At Seventeen" made a hit in France by Claude Francois, "17ans". The production team for the album has been reorganized, with Benjamin Constant, who has worked with Patrick_Bruel, Christophe Maé, and Asa, at the helm of the production.A tribute to the singers, songwriters, and composers who have built the history of French pop music, and to the roots of the music itself.
