BIZARREKULT’s third release. Originally a solo project launched by Roman V. in the spirit of black metal’s solitary ethos, the band has, since relocating to Norway in the late 2000s, developed a unique post-black metal sound while preserving its traditions. This album, *Alt Som Finnes*, was born out of a personal crisis in the search for “meaning.” While maintaining the intense ferocity of the past—symbolized by the maddening riffs and piercing screams of “Drom”—it incorporates a post-metal spatiality that strips away defenses. “Avmakt” depicts the inner conflict of losing control with a melody that feels like the light is fading. In “BlikketHennes,” Vicotnik shines a clean, contrasting light amidst the pulsating darkness of guilt. Guest appearances by Predatory Void, MOL, and Dodheimsgard add depth, and “Tomhet”—the first track to feature English lyrics—reveals a poignant realization of shared loneliness. Highly recommended for fans of ENSLAVED, DEAFHEAVEN, DODHEIMSGARD, and DERWEGEINERFREIHEIT.
