Their second release, following Mendelssohn, is a collection of piano trios by Schumann, another German Romantic! The Hagettes' insatiable inquisitiveness and their pursuit of reproducing the original form of Schumann's works, including repeated research into the performance methods and instruments of the period when the works were composed, will allow us to hear the "sound" as envisioned by Schumann.
