Noseda's Chai 5, full of beauty and propulsion, and the LSO's skill astonishes! Noseda & LSO's second Tchaikovsky concert, which attracted much attention with their passionate performance of Symphony No. 4. The long-awaited No. 5 is now available. Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony is full of masterpieces and masterpieces performed by Noseda's master Gergiev and others, and now a new one is added to the list. Noseda's performance is full of thrust and "hot" is the only word that comes to mind. The tempo of the first movement and the main part of the finale are both fast, reminiscent of Svetlanov, but Noseda is an Italian, and the way he makes the cantabile melody sing is superb. You can listen to this masterpiece with a new feeling. The coupling is a suite of four orchestral numbers from Rimsky=Korsakov's opera "The Tale of the Invisible City of Kitezh and Saint Fevronia," including "Prelude," "Wedding Procession," "Battle of Kherzenets," and "Death of Fevronia and Pilgrimage to the Invisible City. The orchestration of this work, which has been called the "Russian Parsifal," is almost divine. The LSO has realized Noseda's music-making with astonishing skill. King International
