The Sibelius Symphonies No. 5 and No. 6 SACD release by the LSO and Davis! Symphonies Nos. 5 & 6 on SACD! In response to the enthusiastic requests from fans, Nos. 5 and 6 are now being released in SACD hybrid format. The lyrical content and glorious finale of No. 5, which is as popular as No. 2 and other popular works, are familiar and evocative of Finland's natural wonders, and the somewhat elusive Mystème No. 6 is a perfect example of the Finnish music. The sixth piece is somewhat elusive and mysterious in style, but has been polished to a greater depth and perfection.In his third series of complete works, Davis is well known for his expertly crafted music, which is full of love and empathy, and brings out a truly lively expression from the LSO. The second release of this coupling, No. 5 and No. 6 were recorded live at the Barbican Center in London on December 10 and 11, 2003, and September 28 and 29, 2002, respectively, by Jonathan Stokes, Tony Faulkner, and a renowned engineer. The two songs were also originally recorded at the Barbican Center in London on September 28 and 29, 2002. The original masters of these two symphonies, as well as the other symphonies, were recorded in DSD format, making the SACD release significant and inevitable, and thus the series is now truly complete.
