THUNDERMOTHER is a Swedish all-female rock band that plays classic, simple, and straight-ahead hard rock reminiscent of AC/DC, AIRBOURNE, ROSETATTOO, and AEROSMITH. This album is their live album. Formed in 2009 by guitarist Filippa Nassil, the band is known for its energetic rock anthems and vigorous touring schedule. They have made their mark by opening for SCORPIONS on their North American and European tours, performing on the KISS Cruise, and appearing at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air. In 2025, with a new lineup featuring Linnea Vikström Egg, returning bassist Majsan Lindberg, and drummer Joan Massing, they released their sixth album, *Dirty & Divine*, which reached the top 3 on the official German rock/metal charts. This album, *Live’n’Alive*, captures their explosive live energy in its entirety across 19 tracks from their 2025 setlist, recorded during their subsequent European headlining tour. The album spans the band’s catalog, covering everything from powerful reinterpretations of their signature songs to more recent tracks. It opens with the anthemic “Can You Feel It—Live in Cologne,” followed by “Loud and Free—Live in Cologne,” and also includes the groovy “Whatever—Live in Gothenburg” and the catchy “Speaking of the Devil—Live in Huskvarna.” It concludes with their biggest hit, “Driving In Style—Live in Huskvarna.” The sound—a fusion of tight, dry rhythms, raw, crisp guitars, and powerful vocals—conveys the band’s true appeal more directly than any studio recording. There are absolutely no backing tracks, overdubs, or re-recorded instruments. This album, *Live’n’Alive*, is a work that rejects all compromise—it’s 100% live and packed with the very essence of rock ’n’ roll.
