Mutant, in partnership with WaterTower Music, is pleased to announce the world premiere release of the soundtrack to the original series "Gilmore Girls" (Gilmore Girls). The soundtrack features the iconic score and original songs by Sam Phillips, who established the sound and emotional tone of this beloved Warner Bros. Television series. Produced in partnership with show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, this release makes the music available on digital platforms for the first time. The collection includes 18 tracks spanning all seven seasons. From witty conversations to quiet moments between mother and daughter, "Gilmore Girls" captured the rhythm and warmth of small town life. Sam Phillips' unmistakable "La La's" and expressive, minimalist arrangements emphasized both the humor and tenderness of the show and were integral to its identity. Reflecting on the project, composer Sam Phillips said "Over the years, I would be more than happy to have as many new episodes of 'Gilmore Girls' as there were requests to release the 'La La's' score for the show's fans. But now I am very pleased that Warner Bros. Television / WaterTower Music has asked me to produce an album of "La La's" for all those who have asked for them. While working on the album I felt like I was in Stars Hollow with all the sweets and coffee, drama and charm, even though I was hearing my own voice and melodies. I hope these little pieces of music will transport the listener back to the world of Lorelei and Rory, the Gilmores we all love so much."
