SheerMag, the legendary American rock band from Philadelphia that’s a staple of the current underground scene, has signed with Third Man Records. They’re reissuing their 2017 album, *Need To Feel Your Love*. As history has shown, great bands—those possessing the elusive quality of enduring popularity over the long term—neither pander to nor defy the trends of the times; rather, they possess the power to make the times catch up to their music. SheerMag embodies precisely that appeal with an overwhelming presence. Having built a career that has already made them legends in the current underground scene nearly 10 years after their formation, SheerMag has announced a deal with the major indie label Third Man Records. This marks their first partnership with a major label. Third Man Records has released their early EPs “I” (2014) and “II” (2015), which enjoy cult status, “III” (2016)—as well as their breakthrough debut album “Need To Feel Your Love” (2017) and their second album “A Distant Call” (2019)—among other titles.
