Description:
This is a collection of works based on "Psalms" from all over the world, from the Renaissance to the present day. The Psalms are 150 poems of praise to God in the Old Testament, many of which are attributed to David. Some of the psalms have specific melodies, but the composers are not bound by them, but are free to create their own melodies to praise their respective gods. Recorded in 2014 as part of a project supported by the SDG Music Foundation (formerly Soli Deo Gloria), which runs a project to collect psalms from around the world. (C)RS
