This is the second album by Anna Panzanelli, an Italian jazz singer who released a tribute album to Lil Hardin and Laura Nyro, "Bluer Than Blue," and has since been regarded as a promising talent in the jazz world. In a different color from her previous album, which was based on blues, she sings 15 of her own compositions, combining jazz elements with Italian canzones. ■Anna Panzanelli studied classical and jazz piano and singing in Perugia, and has been noted for her collaborations with her saxophonist father, Roberto Panzanelli.
