The Swedish duo STUDIO, who made their presence felt in the nü-disco/ Balearic scene of the 1990s with a key focus on indie/psychedelic music, has reissued their debut album "West Coast" on the US label Ghostly International! This album has been called the missing link between Cure and Lindstrom, or the masterpiece that was mentioned through Durutti Column and Can. The style of the album is Krautrock, Disco, Dub, Afrobeat, Psychedelic Rock, with New Wave-inspired songs. Although only a small number of copies were pressed on his own Information label, it sold out immediately. It was later reissued as a second edition of a 2-disc set, which also sold out.Despite these accomplishments, the project never seemed to be active in the public eye, and it was never streamed and became a buried project. Since then, Dan Lissvik has released solo works on Smalltown Supersound and other labels, and has recently been active as a member of the band Under Allt, while Rasmus Hägg has only been credited for his participation in Jamie xx's "Girl" and design-related work. Rasmus Hägg has not made any significant moves, except for his participation in Jamie xx's "Girl" and design credits. Once again, this album shows the influence of DJ Screw, J Dilla, Joy Division, and pioneers such as Beppe Loda, Dj Mozart, and Baldelli as blueprints for Sweden's nü-disco and Balearic scene of the zero's in the so-called Scandinavian era. The light of dazzling stars and shining stars. The dazzling starlight, shining romanticism, and electronic sounds that point to distant lands of longing are delivered to the world once again after 20 years.
