Drummer Jacopo Battaglia, founder of the cult Italian trio Zu and known for his collaborations with Mike Patton and The Bloody Beetroots, joins forces with guitarist Adriano Viterbini, founder of the up-and-coming I Hate My Village and known for his collaborations with Rokia Tera Tera was formed by drummer Jacopo Battaglia, known for his collaborations with Mike Patton and The Bloody Beetroots, and guitarist Adriano Viterbini, founder of the up-and-coming I Hate My Village and known for his work with Traore and Bombino. The album, the result of two intense improvisational jam sessions, went through multiple stages of fragmentation, psychedelic experimentation, and sonic reconstruction. Their primary concern is to explore sound and open new paths to transcendence.The hours of material sublimated into structure, and the repeated processing and synthesis of further processing and synthesis, vividly documenting the chemical reactions between the two, this work transcends genre boundaries, transcends conventional limits, and ventures into uncharted psychedelic territory.
