A rare masterpiece by Lucia Rango, an Italian minor female singer who was active for a very short time in the 60's, is being reissued on CD in a limited edition of 200! The album is filled with the most delicious sounds of the 60's such as bossa nova, canzone, and jazz, and is a joy to drop the needle and listen to all day long. The strings arrangements throughout the album are impressive, and the flutes and vibraphones that appear here and there are a real treat for the ears. The alto flute on "L'angelo" and the horn ensemble on "Hai lasciato a casa il tuo sorriso" are superb. In 1967, when she was almost unknown, she recorded the album "Lucia Rango Show" (sold at a high price among collectors), which was composed of songs selected by a friend from her repertoire, Unfortunately, it was not a success in the music business, and it was long sealed off.
