This album allows you to fully enjoy Callas’s legendary performances. Her rendition of Wagner’s “Liebestod” (“His gentle, faint smile”), sung in Italian, is a real treat. As bonus tracks, this album includes seven live recordings from February 18, 1952, with the RAI Turin Symphony Orchestra conducted by Oliviero De Fabritiis.
