New recording of the orchestral version of the Technique of Fugue arranged by Hermann Scherchen! The ultimate in beauty! Originally, the "Technique des Fugues" was not designated for any particular instrument, but it is often arranged (transcriptions) for various orchestras as well as keyboard instruments, and here we have a rare orchestral arrangement by Hermann Scherchen. Even the great Stokowski did not arrange the "Technique de fugue" for orchestra, but Scherchen is said to have spent nearly 40 years to complete this transcription version, and it is fair to say that he spent almost all of his life as a musician working on it. Until now, the only recordings of this version have been made by Scherchen himself, so the significance and value of this recording is immeasurable. Scherchen was a conductor who was particularly good at contemporary music and read the score with an extremely intelligent and penetrating eye similar to that of Boulez.The orchestral arrangement of the "Technique de la Fuge" was thoughtfully considered and refined from the strict perspective of Scherchen, who composed music himself and showed a deep understanding of the composers of his time, and was able to bring together the best of STRADIVARIUS' vivid, high-resolution recording techniques.
