Giuseppe Demarchi (1732-1791) was an 18th-century Italian composer-violinist who was born in Alessandria and worked in Geneva, London, and other parts of Europe. Although today his four violin concertos and 17 other works are relatively well known, his chamber works and other works without work numbers are also excellent, reminiscent of Boccherini's Gallant style.
