This is the fourth album by GASTEM, a band formed in 1985 in Damascus, Maryland, that gained a strong following in the hard rock scenes of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. After going on hiatus in 1989, the band reunited in 2024—34 years later—and demonstrated they were still going strong with their comeback album *III*. This new release builds on that momentum, delivering a rich and satisfying album. Centered around catchy, memorable melodies, soaring vocals, and anthemic choruses guaranteed to get the crowd singing along, the album carries on the legacy of classic 1980s American melodic hard rock while powerfully updating it with modern production. Energetic guitar work and a dynamic rhythm section underpin the songs, while dramatic developments and hook-filled songwriting enliven the entire album. It’s still fresh in our memory that in 2025, to commemorate the band’s 40th anniversary, their first two albums, *Catch the Flame* and *Do It Like Wild*, were reissued, leading to a renewed appreciation of their talent.
