This album, their first since their 2015 debut *The Original Faces*, further deepens the intimate and dreamlike world of bedroom dream pop they have been exploring. Their unique soundscape—a shoegaze sound where soft light and shadow intertwine, woven from shimmering melodies and melancholy—has gained even greater depth over time. The lyrics, centered on themes of waves, storms, and escape, simultaneously reflect a sense of loss and beauty, while also hinting at influences from New Zealand’s underground pop scene.
