A duo work by Cristóvão Bastos, a master pianist who has long supported the world of Brazilian music, and Jogelio Caetano, another Brazilian master of the 7-string guitar, is now available. Duo works between piano and 7-string guitar are extremely rare in the history of Brazilian music, but one of the few precedents for this is "Tributo A Garoto" ('82), a collection of garoto pieces by Hadames Nyattari, known as Jobim's teacher, and Jafael Havelo, a revolutionary on the 7-string guitar. This work is a modern version of the same work. This work is a modern version of that work, and in fact the album is dedicated to Havelo. This is a piece that could be a new pathfinder for contemporary choro.
