Description:

Helio Ziskind, a composer known for releasing musical works for children, has released a new album for children, FREVO E MUITO BOM (2024). It may sound somewhat insulting to call it that, but the content is excellent. The wind instrument arrangements are by Nairol Proveta, a saxophone/clarinetist from São Paulo who has made a splash with his Joao Gilberto tribute work with Henat Blas and others. This is a pleasant piece with rhythms similar to Frevo's marches and a cheerful mood. This one is recommended not only for children but also for adults!
