A female singer who began her career with Joven Guarda and is still active and energetic, Vanderlea's new album is a choro album that looks back on her early career. The repertoire is a mixture of old and new, from songs by greats such as Ernesto Nazareth, Pisinginha, and Valdir Azevedo to "Um Chorinho para Wandeca," a song written by Douglas Germano & João Poleto, with Ze Barbeiro on 7-string guitar, Alessandro Pennisi on guitar, Fabrizio Rosil on cavaquinho, Milton di Mori on bandolin, Alessandri Hibeiro on clarinet, Hoberta Valenti on pandeiro, and Douglas Alonso on percussion, representing the best of the current choro musicians. Guests Amilton de Hollanda and Cristóvão Bastos will also participate.
