Matt Sweeney & Bonnie Prince Billy

Description:

Will Oldham, who has many faces, and the famous guitarist Matt Sweeney, who hasn't performed together in a long time! SSW Will Oldham, who has been supporting and nurturing the folk sensibility of the US indie scene as Bonnie Prince Billy under the well-known name of Bonnie Prince Billy while also being a cameraman, has been playing guitar in Billy Corgan's ZWAN. Guitarist Matt Sweeney, who played guitar in Billy Corgan's ZWAN and has since worked with CAHVEZ and producers. It has been 16 years since these two first teamed up for "SUPERWOLF" in 2005, and they are back with their latest album "SUPERWOLVES" for the first time in 10 years! The label is DRAG CITY, well-known for BONNIE PRINCE BILLY! The band's classic song "HALL OF DEATH", which showcases the alterna-sense they developed at BONNIE PRINCE BILLY with Matt's brilliant technique, and "SUPERWOLVES", which is a huge scale guitar solo that makes you want to say, "They swallowed BON IVER in their own way! The "MAKE WORRY FOR ME", with its large scale and heartbreaking guitar solo, and the "MY BLUE SUIT", which gives the impression of bottomless depth even though it is a solo song, and the chord work that stimulates your buttons even if it is not so subtle, are all 14 songs that have taken shape with the air they have both learned in their long careers. The 14 songs are all filled with the atmosphere that both have mastered in their long careers. The title of this album, which is a response to their debut album and can be said to be their second debut, should be listened to not only by fans who continue to follow the band, but also by the younger generation of alternative lovers!
