Mathieu Gaudet, Complete Piano Sonatas & Major Piano Works, Volume 6!Canadian pianist Mathieu Gaudet completed a great recital series in May 2019, performing all of Schubert's piano sonatas. The sixth volume of a major project (planned for 12 volumes), which began following the recitals, to record all of Schubert's piano sonatas and major piano works, focuses on "No. 15". This unfinished work, whose details remain a mystery, is entitled "Reliquie. This album features the Paul Badura-Skoda edition (Henle edition) and the Martino Tirimo edition (original Viennese edition), with additions by Matthieu Gaudet.Gaudet's performance in this project has been praised by Toronto's WholeNote magazine as "our world needs more Schubert like this" and "he soars higher with each new disc of Schubert.
