Charles Richard Amrand is a young Canadian pianist who has made a name for himself as a world-class pianist. His seventh recording on the prestigious Canadian label ANALEKTA is Beethoven Volume 2 with the renowned Androu Wang, who is also the concertmaster of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.Andrew Wang is a graduate of the Juilliard School and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Violin at McGill University's Schulich School of Music, as well as Artistic Director of the OSM Chamber Soloists and the Prince Edward County Chamber Music Festival. He has been appointed concertmaster of the prestigious Canadian orchestra, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, since 2008, where he has worked with world-class conductors and soloists, and on the Analekta label he has released the Saint-Saëns Violin The Analekta label has released a live recording of the complete Saint-Saëns concertos (AN 28770) with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra under Kent Nagano. This recording of the complete Beethoven violin sonatas was undertaken by Androu Wang and Charles Richard-Amran, Canada's leading superpower duo.Volume 1, which includes Nos. 6-8, was named a "Semi-Special Recording" by Record Arts and one of the best classical albums of 2018 by Radio Canada. Released in Beethoven's anniversary year, the second volume of violin sonatas includes three pieces from Op. 12 (Nos. 1-3), dedicated to Salieri, and one of Beethoven's most famous chamber works, No. 5, nicknamed "Spring". 1744.
