Van Stevenson is an American singer/songwriter who has written songs for Crystal Gayle, Kenny Rogers, Dan Shields, and others. This is a collection of songs written by him and sung by other vocalists who are not Van! This 2CD collection of lost Van Stevenson songs from Van's pen, co-written with his regular songwriting partners including Dave Innis, Sam Lorber, Robert White Johnson, Bob Farrell, and Dave Robbins, and written with Dan Huff for the giant classic "Time To Burn" album. Van Stivenson's music includes three previously unreleased session tracks written with Dan Huff for the giant classic Time To Burn that have remained buried for 30 years, a trilogy with Jamie Kyle, two songs featuring vocalist Robert White Johnson, and one song featuring Dan Shields' son, TJ Shields. One song featuring TJ Shields, and many other masterpieces that, although not sung by Van, are filled throughout with Van's melodic rock style & spirit. Disc 1 features all male lead vocals, while Disc 2 features mostly female lead vocals.Unfortunately, many of them are uncredited, and some of the vocalists themselves are unknown, but enjoy the pleasure of hearing these rare performances from 20-30 years ago now, and they sound as good as ever.
