Jacob Lehmann, who will conduct the remarkable "Italian Woman in Algiers" 2022 live, is a violinist who has performed as concertmaster at the Anima Eterna and Le Conseil des Nations, etc. In 2015, he founded the Eroica Berlin, a chamber orchestra composed of young Berlin musicians, and since then has served as its artistic director. He has been focusing on breathing new life into music by deploying the language of period playing on modern instruments. He has been actively researching and performing Rossini's bel canto operas.
