The hot young cellist Gehweiler records Brahms, Röntgen, and Herzogenberg! There Brahms and Julius Röntgen (1855-1932) became friends and engaged in friendly competition as composers. This album contains the cello sonatas of these three composers. Cellist Isabelle Geweiler first came to international attention in 2007, when she was 19 years old. She received the European Bursary for Young Artists Award, which aims to support talented young artists, and began performing mainly in Europe. Since then, she has been active as a soloist and composer. His own works are regularly performed at international music festivals.
