Description:
Vivaldi’s recorder concertos push the instrument to its absolute limits; they are breathtakingly innovative and demand extraordinary virtuosity. (Vivaldi later arranged this piece for violin.) This performance is by Michael Schneider, the founder of Camerata Köln—an ensemble known to everyone in the early music world—and a master of the recorder. It is flawless in every respect. In short, you can relax and enjoy this thrilling piece with complete confidence. [Comment provided by Naxos Japan]
