The lineup of participating musicians includes Paul Bryan (bass), Josh Johnson (saxophone/keyboards), Jamaia Williams and Jay Bellers (drums), as well as Parker’s daughter Ruby (vocals), while Parker himself handles guitar, synthesizers, and other instruments. This endeavor, which began with an interest in hip-hop-inspired processes, expanded into a perspective that reinterpreted the relationship with jazz, and can be considered a crucial foundation leading to subsequent works such as Suite for Max Brown, For Folks, and The Way Out of Easy.
