The detailed sensitivity of Masao Tanibe, a guitarist who studied in Germany and is now energetically based in Japan! Masao Tanibe, guitarist with Japanese commentary, was born in Nagoya, Japan, and began his early musical education at the age of four, starting guitar lessons with his father at the age of seven. While a student at the University of Tokyo, he won first prize at the Tokyo International Guitar Competition. He graduated first in his class from the University of Music and Performing Arts Cologne, Germany. In 2006, he was selected as an overseas trainee by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to study at the Karlsruhe College of Music under A. von Wangenheim, and received his National Performer Certificate. In 2005, she made her U.S. debut at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Her performance with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in Buffalo, New York, was a great success with an audience of 2,000 people, and was broadcast live on the radio throughout the United States and the European Union.Since 2011, he has been based in Japan, where he has been actively performing and teaching both in Japan and abroad. This album features concerto-like works for guitar by three leading Japanese composers. Tanibe's well-trained and flexible technique produces an astonishing array of sounds. The three works are backed by the Erzgebirge Philharmonic Orchestra, whose musical director is Naofumi Takahashi, who is active in German opera houses, and the three works are richly colored with the unique imagination that they encompass.
