A vinyl LP will also be released simultaneously!! Nipsey Hussle, a giant of the indie hip-hop scene, passed away suddenly in 2019 at the young age of 33. An album that carries on the musical legacy of this Grammy® Award-winning rap superstar—who was also an entrepreneur and community leader—is finally being released. That album is the collaborative album *PROLIFIC*, produced alongside rapper and storyteller BinoRideaux. Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux first teamed up in 2016 and began working on the EP *NoPressure* in 2017. Recorded at NoName Studios in Los Angeles, *NoPressure* and the tracks that would later become *PROLIFIC* were produced over an astonishingly short and creatively intense 90-day period, marking one of the most prolific and exciting phases of Nipsey and Bino’s partnership. A year later, Hustle rose from a darling of the Los Angeles underground rap scene to a top-tier superstar with his major-label debut album *VICTORYLAP*, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, earned a 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for “Best Rap Album.” Shortly thereafter, Beeno and Hustle joined creative forces once again to craft what would become *PROLIFIC*. Comprising 15 tracks, *PROLIFIC* showcases the full force of these two Los Angeles superstars, backed by a team of trusted, Grammy®-winning collaborators. Many of these tracks were produced by a trusted team of Grammy®-winning collaborators, including Mike & Keys, MixedByAli, Cyrus Taghipour, Axel Folie, Larrance Dopson, Lamar “ Mars” Edwards, and Garnett “G” Flynn—all of whom contributed to Hustle’s Grammy-nominated, RIAA 2x Platinum-certified 2018 album *VICTORYLAP*. *PROLIFIC* captures these two pillars of the West Coast in a rare light, revealing deeper levels of introspection, vulnerability, and purpose.
