Thank you for your patience! The new release from Testament, a leading historical label that has been out of circulation for a long time, is finally back in stock! Tower Records will be the first to distribute this new release to the Japanese public through our own channels. Testament has carefully re-released all the recordings left by the legendary violinist Johanna Marzi for EMI. This disc is the final release in this series. It is also historically significant as the first recording of the great German musician Wolfgang Sawallisch. In addition to his profound interpretation of symphonic works, Sawallisch is known as a specialist in accompaniment, both as a pianist and conductor. The Mozart and Mendelssohn recordings by these two musicians have never been released internationally (although they have been released on CD in Japan), and this is the first worldwide release of the Mozart and Mendelssohn recordings. This is the first worldwide release.Rumor has it that the reason the recording has never been released is that the two clashed about tempo in the studio, but this remains a mystery. Charming and musically gifted, Marzi has always been the most popular of all historical violinists, and new releases are eagerly awaited. However, her life was tumultuous due to the history of the war and the politics of her native Hungary, and for these reasons and more, there are surprisingly few official recordings of this violinist, and her life itself was very short, only 54 years. For all the hardships of her life, as a violinist she possessed talent, beauty, intelligence, passion, and a warm, beautiful tone, which is the reason why she continues to be loved by music fans around the world more than 30 years after her death.Fortunately, there are many live recordings available, and their release continues to be of primary interest to fans. Rumor has it that Mozart and Mendelssohn have never been released because the two young artists argued about tempi, but the recordings show no such differences of opinion. Both just turned 30 years old (especially for Sawallisch, this was his first recording for a major label). Although they are both just 30 years old (for Savarisch in particular, this was his first recording for a major label), their performances are very accomplished, and the content is more than enough to predict not only Marzi's reputation today, but also Savarisch's future, who will soon have an illustrious recording career. In Beethoven, we can hear the imposing and affectionate expression of an unshakable sense of trust. An analog version will be released at the same time!
