Born and raised in Lunigiana, Italy, guitarist Lorenzo Micheli Pucci met master musician Luigi Biscardi in 2012 to deepen his studies in 20th century and contemporary music, and in 2017 enrolled at the A. Vivaldi Conservatory in Alessandria, He received his Bachelor's degree with a thesis on Volfango dalla Vecchia and Ernst Krushenek, and his Master's degree in Angelo Gilardino's program on Studies of Virtuosity and Transcendence. This album is the result of these studies and is packed with fascinating contemporary guitar works, including works by Kruschenek, Vecchia, and Gilardino. Tokyo M-Plus
