Description:

Most of the chamber music written for the guitar between the 18th and 19th centuries was composed by composers/guitarists who were creating new methods and techniques of playing at the time, and Theodor Gaudet, the guitarist featured here, was no exception. Theodore Gaudet, who is featured here, was also a guitarist active in Germany. The works for flute and guitar recorded here combine different styles and forms, such as simple guitar accompaniment and moments in which the flute and guitar alternate to present an important theme, to give the listener a unique style. Gianluca Nicolini is a virtuoso flutist who was principal flute at the Orquestra Filarmonica Giovanile in Genoa. He is currently a professor at the Vivaldi Conservatory in Alessandria. Tokyo M-Plus
