Italian composer, essayist, musicologist and publicist Emilio Ghezzi (1955-), who studied composition with Giacomo Manzoni at the Milan Conservatory and served as director of the Parma Conservatory from 2004 to 2010, has reincarnated for "two guitars" the immortal masterpiece by the great Bach, "Gortberg Variations. The Tuscan Guitar Duo, which performs the profound world of the great Bach with two guitars, was formed in 2014 by Gabriele Lanini and Chiara Festa while they were students at the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory in Lucca, Italy. They are new stars in the guitar world, having won and placed in various international competitions, including the LIGITA International Competition in Liechtenstein, one of the most important competitions for guitar duos. The Tuscan Guitar Duo has been playing this two-guitar version of the "Goltberg Variations" in concerts around the world since they first encountered it in 2019, and it has been perfected to a high degree of perfection; look forward to the world of the "Goltberg Variations" spun by two guitars.
