The "Complete Sonatas and Partitas for Solo Violin" by Paolo Guidoni (1964-), a leading figure in the current Italian violin world, was recorded in May 2012 and was only available for downloading. Paolo Guidoni was born in 1964 in Mantova, a World Heritage city in Lombardy, northern Italy, and studied violin under Ferruccio Sangiorgi. He graduated at the top of his class from the prestigious National Conservatory of Mantova, Italy, at the tender age of 17. He studied under Franco Gulli at the Chigiana Conservatory in Siena, Ivry Gitlis in Sion, Switzerland, and violin masters such as Salvatore Accardo and Franco Claudio Ferrari, and was awarded the Vittorio Gui in Florence at the age of 19. He was awarded the Vittorio Gui Prize in Florence at the age of 19, and has been one of the key figures in the Italian violin world since the beginning of his career.The Italian master's daring and transformative performance of Bach's sacred Sonatas and Partitas on his Giacinto Santa Giuliana violin will reveal the depth of this work and a new side to it!
