Description:

The young pop star Prince's superb live show is finally released! Prince & The Revolution "Live" is the complete recording of Prince's two-hour performance from the legendary Purple Rain Tour in 1985. Prince & The Revolution's "Live" is finally being released in its complete form, the live performance that Prince himself described before his death as "one of the most powerful concerts I've ever been to. This concert was recorded on March 30, 1985 at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York, at the end of his "Purple Rain Tour," which whipped the United States into a frenzy from November 1984 to April 1985. Prince was greeted by the enthusiastic cheers of an audience of about 40,000 people when he took the stage and performed a nonstop succession of up-tempo hits, including "Let's Go Crazy," "1999," and "Little Red Corvette. The concert continued with Prince's erotic numbers such as "Do Me, Baby" and ended with the 20-minute long "Purple Rain". The concert, coupled with the flawless combination of Prince and his backing band, The Revolution, has established a reputation as one of the most perfect concerts of Prince's entire career. The Revolution's bassist Brownmark said, "When I look back on the Syracuse show, it was like a freight train that came out of nowhere and went on forever. I've been to a lot of concerts and I've never seen anything like it.Considering that the band's first concert in Japan was in 1986, this concert can truly be called "legendary" for many Japanese music fans.
