Description:

Bach played on a rare baroque organ by the famous Uruguayan organist Sweden! Løvstavljuk (Leuvstavljuk), located near the Swedish university city of Uppsala, is also known for its vast collection of autographs of Louis de Jahre, a Belgian capitalist who flourished in the steel industry in the 18th century and contributed to industrial development. The Johann Niklas Carman-built organ installed in the village's Löwsta Brug church is the best-preserved baroque organ in Sweden, and has been used for several recordings since its new restoration in 2006. Cristina Garcia Banegas (1954-) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. She studied with Rene Pietrafesa Bonet, Lionel Rogg, and Marie-Claire Alain, and is a professor of organ at the Music School of the University of the Republic. Tokyo M-Plus
