Heflinger will perform this work, which explores the human psyche, including grief and tenderness, with all his might. Heflinger made his New York debut in 1988 with great success, and later went on to make guest appearances with major orchestras in Europe and the United States, give solo recitals, and accompany world-class singers such as Matthias Goerne in lieder.
