This 5-CD set includes all of Prokofiev's symphonies (Symphonies Nos. 1 through 7, as well as the major orchestral works)! The set features not only the complete symphonies, but also the orchestral works. The symphonic suite "Lieutenant Kyger" includes the second "Romance" and the fourth "Troika" with Russian baritone (Andrei Bondareko (baritone)) as in the original! Litton is known for his excellent sense of balance and tact to bring out the beauty of his works. He has been praised for his ability to deliver not only masterpieces but also hidden masterpieces to listeners with careful music making.
