Ernst Heflinger's son, Andreas, is now available on the BIS label with the seventh installment of his well-received "Perspectives" series! The pianist Andreas Heflinger, born in Berlin in 1962 and raised in Switzerland, the home country of his tenor father, Ernst Heflinger, has created an original program of Beethoven's piano sonatas combined with works by other composers in the "Perspective" series. Heflinger's original program "Perspectives" series, which combines Beethoven's piano sonatas with works by other composers. The series has been released on the Avie label (U.K.) up to the sixth volume, and now the seventh volume will be released on the BIS label. Andreas Heflinger studied under Herbert Stessin at the Juilliard School and made his New York debut in 1988 with great success, and has since been active in a wide range of activities, including guest appearances with major orchestras in Europe and the United States, solo recitals, and lieder accompaniment with world-class singers such as Matthias Goerne. This disc features her performance of Beethoven's "Lieder".
