The Sitkovetsky Trio Begins Recording Beethoven’s Complete Piano Trios! SACD hybrid disc. The Sitkovetsky Trio was formed in 2007 by Alexander Sitkovetsky, cellist Leonard Elschenbroich, and pianist Wu Chen. Starting with the 2018–2019 season, cellist Isan Enders joined the trio, replacing Leonardo Erschenbroich. This album marks their first recording with the new lineup, as they began recording Beethoven’s complete piano trios to commemorate the 250th anniversary of his birth in 2020. This first release in the series features Piano Trios No. 3 and No. 6, along with the “Allegretto.” Known for their clear articulation, exceptional ensemble skills, and rich musicality, the Sitkovetsky Trio delivers a vibrant performance. Please enjoy this album alongside their collections of works by Dvořák, Smetana, and Suk (BISSA2059) and their collection of Mendelssohn’s Piano Trios (BISSA2109). King International
